Lois Frankel Calls On Adam Hasner to Condemn Remarks Made by Mitt Romney At Boca Raton Fundraiser

WEST PALM BEACH, FL — Today, Lois Frankel released the following statement regarding the remarks made by Gov. Mitt Romney at a fundraiser on May 17 in Boca Raton, where he stated that supporters of President Obama consider themselves “victims”, are “dependent on government,” and think they are “entitled to health care, to food, to housing.”

“Governor Romney’s remarks are the height of arrogance, insulting half of America while running to be president of all Americans. We rightfully expect more from our leaders. That kind of offensive name-calling should have no place in our country or our politics.”

“I call on Mr. Hasner to reject Governor Romney’s offensive and derogatory comments, which were made in Mr. Hasner’s hometown. Further, Mr. Hasner should immediately resign from his honorary position with Mr. Romney’s campaign steering committee. Floridians should know that Gov. Romney does not speak for Adam Hasner.”
