As the mother of a veteran of the wars in both Iraq and Afghanistan, Lois knows the struggle that veterans returning home can face. It isn’t just the struggle of finding a job; it is a lifelong fight to get the basic services that were promised.

Lois is committed to ensuring that the promises made to our nation’s veterans are kept. From job training and career development upon returning to the civilian work force, to VA funding and recognition of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) as an issue that needs to be confronted, Lois will be an advocate for veterans and their needs.
