Veterans committee will advise Lois on national security and military issues — Frankel’s son is co-chair of the group
WEST PALM BEACH, FL — Today, Lois Frankel’s campaign for Congress announced its “Veterans for Lois Frankel” committee, which is composed of South Florida military veterans who are supporting Frankel’s campaign.
The committee is co-chaired by Marian Wells (U.S. Army, ret.), Aron Augustus (U.S. Army, ret.), and Ben Lubin (U.S. Marines, ret.), Frankel’s son.
“As the daughter and mother of veterans, I am honored to have the support of so many distinguished servicemembers,” said Frankel. “I look forward to seeking the advice and counsel of this group as I make choices and decisions on issues of national security and the military.”
“In Congress, I will fight tirelessly to provide veterans with the care they have earned. This group of South Florida veterans will help advocate for my message that we must take care of those who fight for our freedom. I am proud to stand with them,” Frankel added.
Ben Lubin, Frankel’s son, served in the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq as a U.S. Marine Captain, before retiring and opening a small business in West Palm Beach. Frankel’s father, Edward Frankel, served in the U.S. Coast Guard as a Chief Petty Officer.
