Congressman Ted Deutch Endorses Frankel For Congress

WEST PALM BEACH –U.S. Representative Ted Deutch (FL-19), who represents Palm Beach and Broward Counties in Congress, today announced his endorsement of Lois Frankel for Congress.

“I enthusiastically endorse Lois Frankel. Congress needs her courage, leadership, and record of delivering for working families and seniors. For all the years I have known Lois, she has been a consistent and effective fighter for the families of South Florida. As the mayor of West Palm Beach and former leader in the Florida Legislature, Lois has been an effective leader who gets results. She has a proven record of sparking economic development, promoting small business and creating jobs.”

“Lois has been running an aggressive campaign in this district for over a year and her election could very well make the difference between a Democratic or Republican majority in the House of Representatives,” said Rep. Deutch.

Congressman Deutch, a member of the Foreign Affairs Committee added that he looks forward to working with Lois as a strong supporter of Israel, stating “I know that Lois Frankel will stand with me in Congress as a stalwart defender of Israel.”

Frankel’s campaign continues to build momentum since she entered the race against Allen West last year. She now looks to face Tea Party replacement Adam Hasner in the Fall Election. Lois’ campaign has seen incredible grassroots support and is the top ranked challenger in fundraising of the entire nation.

Upon learning of Deutch’s endorsement, Frankel said “I am honored to have the support and confidence of Congressman Ted Deutch. He is a great model for anyone planning to be successful and effective in Congress. He works tirelessly for his district and stands up for those who most need a voice in Washington. He has been a leader on the Foreign Affairs Committee in working tirelessly to thwart the Iranian regime’s nuclear ambitions. I look forward to working very closely with him to strengthen Medicare and Social Security from the barrage of Republican attacks. Together, we can protect the values that make this country and our community so great.”
